Biographies of the Founding Ancestors of Cheon Il Guk

The biographies of the founding ancestors are the genealogical records of Heavenly Parent’s “noble families.” Noble families should have genealogies.

A genealogy is a family record. Taken together, these genealogies are an epic record of the construction of Cheon Il Guk. They record the noble lives of first-generation leaders who toiled their entire lives to realize the Will – God’s Ideal of Creation – while attending True Parents, who came to complete the Providence of Restoration. Family records serve as lessons for future generations and valuable educational materials.

In the analog era, printed materials – books of historical research and literary works – fulfilled their role well. However, we are now in the digital age. Through digital blogs, it has become possible to preserve the life records of the founding ancestors of Cheon Il Guk for a long time.

This chronicle intends to document the providential lives and histories of the first-generation leaders of Blessed Families who dedicated themselves to the construction of Cheon Il Guk alongside the True Parents, leaving them as research materials for future generations.

First-generation leaders can evaluate their own narrative episodes, and descendants of noble families whose ancestors' records are inadequate or missing may volunteer to contribute to creating better records.

I pray that our future generations will study and remember the victorious histories of our ancestors' holy love, grow into the protagonists of the construction of Cheon Il Guk, and achieve complete victory.

Filial Piety Activities

Prof. Hwang initiated the Filial Piety Festival in Hong Kong in 2006 to promote family culture and the core value of family ethics, filial piety. Parental love is an eternal and unchanging heavenly bond, that transcends time and space. Through filial piety, humans respond to this heavenly love, thereby realizing the ideal of a happy family.

True Mother appointed Prof. Hwang as regional president of the Greater China region, based in Taiwan, in July 2017. At the same time she created the Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace (CPFWP) and appointed him as its international president.

Since 2017, CPFWP has established chapters in 16 cities across 10 countries. It’s filial piety and pro-family programs have been welcomed with enthusiasm and support by Chinese people who cherish the long tradition of family culture.

CPFWP promotes family values through a variety of programs, including letter-writing to parents, essay competitions, short video contests, calligraphy exhibitions, academic seminars on filial piety, and award programs for three-generation families. These activities aim to promote a happy and healthy family culture, with distinctive cultural and artistic elements from various countries.

CPFWP chapters continue to expand their activities, under a self-reliant and self-sufficient policy.
